Marie, the owner of The Cutting Edge Hair Design has been a hairstylist for over 20 years. She knew early on that doing hair was her passion. She’s certified with many of the top hair industry companies and is constantly receiving continuing education on the latest trends and techniques, so she can offer her clients the very best. She believes in listening to what a client is asking for and makes suggestions based on hair texture and face shape. Although her signature style is long hair with a bouncy blowout, she has the most fun doing short, textured haircuts. “I love the challenge of making a short haircut feminine and sexy. My short cut clients are the ones who always get stopped and asked where they get their hair done!” 

Marie loves helping others and making people feel good about themselves. Since she was born and raised in Commack, Marie makes sure she gives back to the local community. Her personal belief is that “You can’t go wrong when you put goodness out into the world." Marie volunteers her time to woman undergoing treatment for cancer and she is also an advocate for families with special needs.

Marie founded Leading Ladies in August 2016. "Leading Ladies is an incredible group of women. We inspire and support each other in so many ways, not just in business, but in life." 

Linda has a passion for shopping and a mad love for fashion. As a Personal Stylist she can assist you in finding the right look for work or play. She has been styling her friends for years so she has made a career out of it. As your personal stylist, Linda can assist you in elevating your style. Barbara Seppala is an Interior Designer and owner of Barbara Rose Designs LLC where she specializes in residential interior design, managing projects that range from whole-house renovations to single-room makeovers. As a dedicated professional member of the Interior Design Society (IDS), she stays at the forefront of industry trends through ongoing education, company training, and trade show attendance. Additionally, Barbara plays an active role in the IDS community, serving on the board of the Long Island Chapter.

Greer is the owner of Aljay Insurance Brokerage Ltd a 3rd Generation Insurance Brokerage established in 1959. She grew up in the Insurance Industry and has been Licensed Professional for over 20 years with many more years of experience. 

She and her team of knowledgeable professionals main focus is to provide their clients with Premiere Customer Service and always being available to review and answer any questions or concerns her clients have and offer helpful insight and advice on all their Insurance needs. 

Greer and her office has also been very active in the community and is involved in several sponsorships throughout the years as well as a being a collection site throughout the year for coats, toys, school supplies and food drives for Local Organizations and Churches.

On a personal level Greer is married with 3 children. They live in Commack and have an office in Commack and love building strong roots in the community.

Melissa is an Industry Award-Winning, Full-Service Travel Agent.  She has been a Travel Advisor for over 10 years, starting her career as an independent contractor, now owning her own Franchise - Melissa Cohn Dream Vacations.  Since the inception of her Dream Vacations franchise in 2022, Melissa has been consistently part of the Circle of Excellence for her network, which represents the top 1-2% of the company’s travel franchises.

Elyssa earned her Masters of Social Work degree from Adelphi University in 1997. Clinical training began shortly thereafter in several different agencies, including The Ministries in Coram and Family Counseling Service in West Hampton Beach. While continuing her clinical training, Elyssa began working as a School Social Worker at The Opportunity Preschool (TOPS) in Hauppauge, working with children with developmental disabilities and their families. In 1999, she began a private practice in Port Jefferson Station in addition to TOPS. In 2005, Elyssa moved her private practice to Commack where she has been ever since. In 2013, she had a thriving practice and began taking steps towards converting into a group practice named Solutions Counseling Center. 

Elyssa currently works with young adults (18-25 years), adults (26+), and couples. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, mindfulness, behavior modification, desensitization, solution-focused therapy, marital therapy, parent training, relaxation, and stress reduction exercises as therapeutic interventions.

Some phrases you may hear Elyssa use in a therapy session are "Stop and Think," "Take control of your emotions, don't let them control you," and "Train your Brain."

Donna has been interested in art ever since she was a child. She was accepted into and attended LaGuardia High School of the Arts in Manhattan and went on to college where she studied fine art extensively and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
